Inspections Division

The Town of Carolina Shores Inspections Division is responsible for the permitting and inspections of all construction projects in the Town and Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) and the enforcement of the State Building Code in the same area. These responsibilities are carried out using a fulltime inspection and administrative office that works in the areas of:

• Permitting
• Inspections (all-trades)

 

Hours of Operation

Monday through Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm

 

Permitting

The Inspections Division is responsible for receiving and issuing permits. 

Inspections

The Inspections Division carries out inspections as called for under the State Building Code, the process for obtaining an inspection is to have a permit on file with the Town first.
