Carolina Shores Subdivision

The community of Carolina Shores originally made up the Town's population and is partly built around a privately owned 18-hole golf course and clubhouse.  Residents enjoy many amenities including a community building which houses the POA offices, library and a large meeting room, a swimming pool, a large pavilion for picnics, meetings, etc., tennis courts, pickle ball courts and bocce ball courts.  The community consists of single family homes, patio homes and villas (town homes) and an area known as The Acreage which has single family homes on large, one acre lots.

Solid Waste Convenience Site (Garbage, Recycle and Yard Waste) This community, at the request of the residents, does not receive regular garbage pick up.

Animal Control (via contract with the County)

Roadway Maintenance (interior roadways only; US 17, NC 179, Persimmon Rd, and Country Club Rd are State roadways)

Curbside Recycle Pick-up (individual property owners may contract with GFL for a recycle container)
