Boards & Committees
The Town of Carolina Shores Mayor and Board of Commissioners have established several boards and committees to serve in an advisory capacity to the Town, these boards and committees do important work in civic engagement, collaborative decision making, and technical support. The boards and committees are:
Economic Development Commission: Foster economic investment and job creation
Planning Board: Serves as the Planning Board and Board of Adjustment pursuant to statute
Parks Commission: Serves as an advisory commission to the Board of Commissioners on recreational matters
Human Resources Committee: Advises the Board of Commissioners on human resource matters
